Rider Giovanni Jimenez Killed, Passenger Injured in Monterey Crash

Monterey, CA (July 20, 2021) – On Sunday, 27-year-old Giovanni Jimenez of Monterey, dies in a motorcycle crash on Casanova Avenue.

The accident happened at 12:26 a.m., on the northbound lanes at the 600 block area.

When the responding officers arrive, they rendered aid to Jimenez and his passenger.

Unfortunately, Jimenez succumbed to his crash injuries.

Emergency rescuers on the other hand, took his passenger to Natividad Medical Center in critical condition.
