TERRA BELLA, CA (September 3, 2026) – Saturday night, a 12-year-old girl died in a horrific pedestrian crash on Avenue 95 near Road 238.

The incident happened at about 5:30 p.m. on Avenue 95 near Road 238.

A 12-year-old girl died after being struck by a vehicle in Tulare County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP said a 22-year-old Porterville man was driving a 2015 Ford Mustang westbound on Avenue 95 near Road 238 when the crash happened.

Witnesses told investigators the girl was crossing Avenue 95 when she was hit by the Mustang. She was taken to Sierra View Medical Center, where she later died.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
