Gloria Garza Killed in Tragic Traffic Crash on I-10 [Beaumont, TX]

Beaumont, TX (March 10, 2025) – 62-year-old Gloria Garza of Corpus Christi was killed in a horrific multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 10.

According to authorities, the multi-vehicle collision happened on I-10 Eastbound near Walden Road.

Reports say that the multi-vehicle crash resulted in the death of Garza. Her husband, who was driving a white Chevrolet dually pickup, sustained serious injuries but is expected to recover.

The crash began when the white pickup was involved in an initial collision, causing it to leave the roadway. As other vehicles attempted to avoid the wreck, additional crashes occurred. At least five vehicles were involved, including an 18-wheeler, a box truck, two smaller cars, and the pickup truck.

Emergency responders transported several people to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Beaumont police shut down all eastbound lanes of I-10, including service roads, while officers managed traffic flow with assistance from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. All lanes reopened around 5:30 p.m.

Authorities continue investigating the crash and urge anyone with relevant information to contact the Beaumont Police Department.
