Gregory Uriegas Injured in Tragic Crash on CR 120 [Midland County, TX]

Midland County, TX (June 21, 2025) 25-year-old Gregory Uriegas, a passenger, was hurt after a tragic crash on CR 120 that killed the driver, Blaze Jeremy Rhoden.

According to authorities, the deadly crash on County Road 120 and County Road 1184 happened Thursday night at around 9:26 p.m.

Reports say that the collision killed one Midland man and seriously injured another.

Authorities say that Rhoden was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu that traveled eastbound on County Road 120.

Rhoden reportedly failed to maintain a single lane and lost control, driving off the road onto the north dirt shoulder of County Road 120.

There, his vehicle struck two mailboxes before colliding with a parked semi-truck.

Authorities pronounced Rhoden dead at the scene. His passenger, 25-year-old Uriegas, was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital in serious condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
