Federal Way Man Killed in Rollover Crash on I-90 Near Ritzville; Medardo Ruiz Perez Involved

Ritzville, WA (December 11, 2025) — 51-year-old Guillermo Martinez-Mireles of Federal Way died Tuesday evening after a rollover crash on Interstate 90.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the fatal crash happened about eight miles west of Ritzville.

Investigators reported that the westbound vehicle veered off the left side of the roadway around 6 p.m. and struck a traffic marker. The driver then overcorrected, sending the car into the median, where it rolled multiple times.

First responders transported the driver to a hospital for treatment. The passenger, identified as Martinez-Mireles, was pronounced dead at the scene.

WSP determined that driver, Medardo Ruiz Perez‘s fatigue, led to the crash. The investigation remains open.
