Aurora Police Seek Driver in Deadly Hit-and-Run Crash

Aurora, CO (August 21, 2025) — Authorities are searching for the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that left 65-year-old Harvey Davis dead earlier this month.

According to authorities, the crash happened on Saturday, August 9, at the intersection of East 12th Avenue and Dayton Street.

Aurora police said officers responded around 6:15 p.m. and found a motorcycle rider with life-threatening injuries. The victim, identified as Davis, was rushed to the hospital but died three days later.
