THURSTON COUNTY, WA (December 29, 2025) – Sunday morning, a tragic head-on crash on 800 South Bay Road Northeast killed one person.

The accident happened at around 8:30 a.m. at the 800 block of South Bay Road Northeast.

According to Thurston County Sheriff Derek Sanders, two vehicles collided head-on for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders pronounced a woman dead at the scene.
