Ferrari Crosses Median, Causes Serious Injury Crash on Missouri Route 30
Jefferson County, MO (August 8, 2025) On Monday evening, a frightening head-on crash on Highway 30 left 2 men with serious injuries and a woman was moderately hurt.
According to authorities, the horrific crash happened around 8:40 p.m. just east of Dillon Road.
Reports say that a 2017 Ferrari 488 Spider traveling eastbound veered off the left side, crossed the median, and struck a westbound 2020 Ford Edge.
The Ford’s driver, a 23-year-old woman from House Springs, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to the hospital. Both vehicles were completely destroyed and towed from the scene.
Let’s Avoid Traffic Accidents
Avoiding auto accidents involves paying attention and practicing safe driving methods. And as always, you should follow the speed and traffic laws, and don’t text (or use your phone in any way) behind the wheel.
Keep a safe trailing distance to be able to stop, if necessary.
Do not drink and drive, and never get behind the wheel if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or if you are tired.
Watch your mirrors and use your turn signals, and check your blind spots, before changing lanes or making a turn. Drive calmly and patiently, especially in heavy traffic or bad weather.
When you drive responsibly and remain alert, you help prevent accidents and keep everyone on the road safe.
Always maintain control of your vehicle—losing focus or drifting across lanes can have devastating consequences for everyone on the road.
Steps to Take When You’ve Been in a Car Accident
If you get into a traffic accident, it can be a frightening situation and many people do not know what to do afterwards, which may have a big impact on your safety as well as your rights.
First, assess yourself and others for injuries. If anyone is hurt, call 911 immediately. If you can move your vehicle, do so in a safe location, and put on your hazard lights to warn other drivers. Exchange details with the other driver such as names, numbers, insurance company information, and license plate numbers. (And if there are witnesses nearby, try to get their information, too.)
Photograph the scene, damage to the vehicles and any injuries. If the damage appears to be minor, document everything anyway.
Then get medical care — even if you feel fine. Some injuries can have a delayed presentation. Lastly, reach out to a seasoned personal injury lawyer, such as the Sweet Lawyers. They’ll explain your legal rights and navigate the insurance claims process, so you can focus on what’s most important.
Those minutes after a crash are critical. Staying calm, acting swiftly and figuring out what kind of aid is available could help protect your health, your finances and your future.
