ST LOUIS, MO (June 15, 2026) – Sunday morning, a fatal head-on crash on Interstate 270 near Interstate 370 killed two people.

The incident happened at around 3:52 a.m. on Interstate 270 near Interstate 370.

According to reports, a northbound vehicle traveling in the southbound lanes collided head-on with a southbound vehicle.

Moreover, responders pronounced the driver of the southbound vehicle dead at the scene. Then, paramedics rushed a passenger of the southbound vehicle to a hospital, where the patient was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, authorities confirmed that the 26-year-old male wrong-way driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
