Horrific Head-On Crash on State Route 522 Results in Injures [Snohomish County, WA]

Snohomish County, WA (February 11, 2025) Serious Injuries were reported in a horrific head-on crash on State Route 522.

According to Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue, the disaster happened in the 12900 block of SR 522, just west of the Snohomish River.

Reports say that the high-speed head-on crash shut down both directions of State Route 522 east of Fales Road in Snohomish County.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated both drivers from their vehicles.

Officials reported that one occupant of a Chevrolet Suburban managed to exit the vehicle independently and was found on the ground when firefighters arrived.

However, responders had to free both drivers from their vehicles.

All three individuals involved sustained serious injuries and were classified as Advanced Life Support (ALS) patients.

Paramedics transported them to local hospitals, but their current conditions remain unknown.

Authorities closed SR 522 for several hours following the crash, but the roadway has since reopened. The Washington State Patrol has taken over the investigation.
