1 Person Dead in Christian County Auto Accident on Highway 60 near Billings
CHRISTIAN COUNTY, MO (December 7, 2025) – Friday morning, a fatal head-on crash on Highway 60 near Billings killed one person.
The incident happened at around 7:15 a.m. on Highway 60 near Billings.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a westbound SUV collided head-on with a pickup that was improperly backing into a driveway facing the wrong direction.
Moreover, responders rushed the 61-year-old male driver of the SUV to Cox South, where he was later pronounced dead. Then, officers confirmed that two passengers of the pickup truck, a 22-year-old man and a 35-year-old man, sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Furthermore, authorities said that a 35-year-old male passenger of the pickup sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the MSHP continued investigating the crash.
