KENDALL COUNTY, TX (March 25, 2026) – Tuesday morning, a startling helicopter crash on 8333 Ranch-to-Market 1376 injured 2 people.

The incident happened at about 11:00 a.m. at Headwaters Ranch, which is located at 8333 Ranch-to-Market 1376.

A preliminary report said a helicopter carrying a pilot and a passenger struck a tree and crashed.

The pilot was airlifted to a hospital in San Antonio, while the passenger was taken to a hospital in New Braunfels. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.

The Federal Aviation Administration was notified and will lead the investigation. Kendall County deputies and fire crews also responded to the scene.
