HARVARD HEIGHTS, CA (August 24, 2025) – Saturday afternoon, a high-speed pursuit crash near S Saint Andrews Place injured 2.

The incident happened at about 5:00 p.m. near S Saint Andrews Place and Venice Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police said a pursuit of a stolen vehicle suspect lasted about a minute before the driver crashed into at least one car at an intersection, causing a vehicle to catch fire. The suspect fled on foot, wearing only a t-shirt, but was caught shortly after.

Good Samaritans carried one of the victims from the wreck to the sidewalk.

LAFD said two people were hospitalized with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
