Hinako Kamdda Sustains Injuries in Accident on Patterson Street [Kirksville, MO]

Kirksville, MO (June 13, 2025) – Hinako Kamdda, an international student, was injured in an accident on Patterson Street Thursday afternoon.

The pedestrian crash happened around 4 p.m. at the intersection with Baltimore Street.

Kirksville police officers said 85-year-old Doris Fountain of Kirksville was turning from Patterson Street toward Baltimore Street when she accidentally struck Kamdda.

Investigators said Kamdda was crossing the street when the collision happened.

The pedestrian incurred minor injuries and was treated by medical personnel at the crash scene.
