Driver Arrested After Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash at Bradley Street and Tuxford Avenue

SUN VALLEY, CA (May 28, 2026) — A motorcyclist died Thursday morning after a crash at Bradley Street involving a Freightliner truck in Sun Valley, and police later arrested a 64-year-old man in connection with the alleged hit-and-run.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash happened around 4:20 a.m. near Bradley Street and Tuxford Avenue.

Police said the driver of a white 2017 Freightliner Cascadia was traveling northbound on Bradley Street from Tuxford Avenue and began making a left turn onto private property.

Investigators said the motorcyclist attempted to pass along the left side of the truck when the vehicles collided.

Emergency responders pronounced the rider, believed to be about 30 years old, dead at the scene. Authorities have not released the motorcyclist’s identity.

Police said the truck driver completed the turn and drove into the private business without stopping to render aid.

Detectives later identified the driver as Edvard Gyulnazaryan of Glendale. Police said he returned to the scene hours later, and officers took him into custody without incident.

Gyulnazaryan was booked at Van Nuys Jail on suspicion of felony hit-and-run causing death.
