ALBUQUERQUE, NM (May 13, 2026) – Monday morning, a male bicyclist sustained injuries in a crippling hit-and-run crash near Carlisle Boulevard and Claremont Avenue NE.

The incident happened about 7:40 a.m. near Carlisle Boulevard and Claremont Avenue NE.

The Albuquerque Police Department said a vehicle struck an adult male bicyclist near Carlisle Boulevard and Claremont Avenue NE.

The bicyclist suffered critical injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

Police closed the intersection of Carlisle Boulevard NE and Claremont Avenue NE during the investigation. Claremont Avenue NE was also shut down between Wellesley Drive NE and Hermosa Drive NE.
