Motorcycle Passenger Killed in Albuquerque Hit-and-Run Crash

Albuquerque, NM (August 22, 2025) On Monday evening, a deadly hit-and-run crash near Menaul Boulevard claimed the life of a woman riding as a passenger on a motorcycle.

According to authorities, the incident happened around 11 p.m. on August 18, 2025, near Menaul Boulevard and San Pedro Drive.

Police say a black lifted four-door truck with chrome rims, blue lights, and a white Zia symbol on the rear window struck the motorcycle and then sped away southbound on San Pedro.

Both the motorcycle rider and passenger were rushed to the hospital. Sadly, the passenger later died from her injuries.

Investigators determined the motorcycle was traveling east on Menaul in the right lane when the truck, driving in the adjacent lane, merged into it. The truck hit the motorcycle, ran over the riders, and fled without stopping to help.

Authorities continue to search for the suspect vehicle and urge anyone with information to contact police.
