1 Dead in St Louis Pedestrian Accident near Natural Bridge Avenue and N Grand Boulevard

ST LOUIS, MO (August 9, 2026) – Friday night, a man died, and a woman sustained injuries in a horrific hit-and-run crash near Natural Bridge Avenue and N Grand Boulevard.

The incident happened at around 10:30 p.m. on Natural Bridge Avenue and N Grand Boulevard, at the edge of Fairground Park.

According to police, a man was killed, and a woman was critically injured after they were struck by a pickup truck on North Grand.

Officers arrived to find both victims injured. They were taken to a hospital, where the man was pronounced dead. The woman was listed in critical condition with stable vital signs. Police said both victims were adults, but their exact ages were not released.

Investigators believe a pickup truck traveling southbound on North Grand at a high rate of speed struck the two victims near the west curb before fleeing the scene.

Police have not released a description of the truck.
