Injuries Reported in Denton Pedestrian Accident on 2300 Cariil Al Lago Drive

DENTON, TX (April 13, 2025) – Early Saturday morning, an alarming hit-and-run crash on 2300 Carril Al Lago Drive injured 1.

The incident happened just after 2:00 a.m. in the 2300 block of Carril Al Lago Drive, near N. Bonnie Brae Street and W. University Drive.

The Denton Police Department is investigating the hit-and-run that left two women injured after they were struck by a dark-colored sedan on N. Bonnie Brae Street. According to witness accounts, the vehicle did not stop after the collision and was last seen heading northbound.

Both victims were transported to a hospital. One woman sustained life-threatening injuries, while the other suffered minor injuries, officials said.

Investigators believe the suspect vehicle may be a 2014–2015 Kia Optima. It likely has a damaged or missing front grill and possible headlight damage.
