The incident happened at around 12:45 a.m. in the 2900 block of North Stemmons Freeway, near Inwood Road.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle rear-ended a Dallas motorcycle officer, then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.
