2 People Hospitalized After Crash on Highway 26 in Valley Springs

Valley Springs, CA (May 9, 2024) – Firefighters responded to a vehicle crash on Highway 26 involving a motorcycle and a hit-and-run automobile.

 An Air Ambulance transported an adult male (father) to a Trauma Center in the Valley, and a ground ambulance took a 14-year-old female (daughter) to a Trauma Center.

Fortunately, CHP found the front bumper and license plate at the accident scene. Officers from the Sheriff’s Department and CHP subsequently located the driver of the fleeing vehicle.

CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
