Yermo, CA (August 21, 2025) – A woman suffered serious injuries Sunday night after a hit-and-run Crash on Interstate 15.

According to authorities, at around 11:59 p.m., a semi-truck struck a woman on the shoulder of northbound Interstate 15 near the Harvard Road exit.

Reports say that the incident happened when the woman pulled over in her white Honda Civic after hitting tire debris on the roadway. She was outside her vehicle inspecting the damage when a semi-truck veered toward the shoulder and slammed into the rear of her car.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the truck driver did not stop or offer help after the crash. A passenger also could not provide details about the semi involved. Authorities believe the truck may have passenger-side damage.

The woman’s son arrived at the scene and called for help. San Bernardino County Fire crews requested an air ambulance, and Mercy Air #66 transported the victim to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton with traumatic injuries.
