1 Person Arrested in Harker Heights Motorcycle Accident on Interstate Highway 14 near FM 2410

HARKER HEIGHTS, TX (January 11, 2026) – On Friday night, an alarming hit-and-run crash on Interstate Highway 14 near FM 2410 injured one person.

The incident happened at around 8:39 p.m. on Interstate Highway 14 near FM 2410.

According to reports, a motorcycle struck a motorist who exited their vehicle to inspect a flat tire. Then, the motorcycle fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders rushed the motorist to Scott and White Hospital in Temple with serious injuries.

Furthermore, officers managed to locate the suspect in the 900 block of Bellaire in Killeen, where the motorcyclist was involved in another crash. Then, paramedics transported the suspect to Seton Hospital in Harker Heights for treatment.

Also, the authorities arrested the motorcyclist for driving while intoxicated.
