Hit-and-Run Crash on Joiner Park Injures 2 Minors [Lincoln, CA]

Lincoln, CA (August 31, 2026) — Lincoln police are searching for the driver of a gray truck involved in a horrific hit-and-run crash on Joiner Park that injured two children riding an electric scooter.

The crash occurred near Nicolaus Road as the children were traveling near the park entrance. Police said the truck collided with them before the driver left the area without stopping.

Both children suffered significant injuries. One victim, a 15-year-old girl, remains hospitalized with a fractured leg and skull injuries, along with a liver laceration.

Authorities have not identified the driver or announced any arrests. Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has information about the truck or driver to contact the Lincoln Police Department at 916-645-4040.
