SAN ANTONIO, TX (May 18, 2026) – Saturday afternoon, a startling hit-and-run crash on San Pedro Avenue and Fresno Street injured one person.

The incident happened at around 12:30 p.m. on San Pedro Avenue and Fresno Street.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, an eastbound vehicle ran a red light and struck a northbound vehicle.

Moreover, responders transported the 32-year-old female driver of the northbound vehicle to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the driver of the eastbound vehicle, who fled the scene on foot after the crash.
