Woman Killed in Van Nuys Hit-and-Run Crash; Driver Sought

Los Angeles, CA (July 13, 2026) — A woman was killed early Saturday after a hit-and-run crash on Sepulveda Boulevard.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal collision occurred at approximately 12:50 a.m. near Sepulveda Boulevard and Wyandotte Street.

Investigators said a gray 2005–2011 Toyota Tacoma was traveling north on Sepulveda Boulevard when it hit the woman as she crossed eastbound in an unmarked crosswalk.

The driver continued north without stopping to render aid or report the crash. Paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim, believed to be about 38 years old, dead.

Authorities continue to search for the driver and ask anyone with information about the incident to contact the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division. The investigation remains ongoing.
