Horrific Hit-and-Run Crash on South Camino Real Kills 1 [Palm Springs, CA]

Palm Springs, CA (May 25, 2025) – A woman was left dead at the scene of a hit-and-run crash on South Camino Real late Friday evening.

According to authorities, the fatal incident happened at around 11:45 p.m. at the intersection of East Palm Canyon Drive and South Camino Real.

Reports say that the hit-and-run collision in Palm Springs left a woman dead, and authorities are still searching for the driver involved.

Palm Springs police responded to a crash involving a car and a pedestrian. Officers found an unresponsive woman in the roadway and had her transported to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

Police say a dark gray Toyota sedan fled the scene before officers arrived. The driver has not been identified or located as of Saturday afternoon.

The incident remains under investigation as a hit-and-run.
