1 Dead in Adams County Auto Accident on E 120th Avenue and Picadilly Road

ADAMS COUNTY, CO (September 15, 2026) – Monday morning, a person died in a horrific 2-vehicle crash on E 120th Avenue and Piccadilly Road.

The incident involving two vehicles happened at 7:18 p.m. on East 120th Avenue and Picadilly Road, north of Denver International Airport.

One person was killed, and another was seriously injured after a crash involving a Subaru and a Kia, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

CSP said it received a report of the crash and found the Subaru driver had died at the scene. The Kia driver had to be extricated from the vehicle and was flown to a nearby hospital. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.

All eastbound lanes of East 120th Avenue were expected to remain closed for an unknown period Monday as authorities investigated the crash.
