SAN MATEO, CA (May 4, 2026) – Saturday morning, a horrific 2-vehicle crash on State Route 92 and San Mateo-Hayward Bridge killed one person.

The incident happened at around 1:10 a.m. on State Route 92 at San Mateo-Hayward Bridge.

According to reports, the crash involved an Acura and a Cadillac.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the male driver of the Cadillac was dead at the scene. Then, paramedics rushed the driver of the Acura to Eden Hospital with major injuries.
