SACRAMENTO, CA (January 27, 2026) – Sunday night, a horrific 2-vehicle crash on West Capitol Avenue near Enterprise Boulevard killed one person.

The incident happened on West Capitol Avenue near the Enterprise Boulevard exit.

According to reports, two vehicles collided in the area for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders rushed a 32-year-old woman to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Then, paramedics transported a 29-year-old male driver to a hospital in stable condition.

Furthermore, the crash closed eastbound and westbound lanes of West Capitol Avenue but has long since reopened.
