FORT WORTH, TX (February 11, 2026) – Monday, a pickup truck driver died in a horrific auto accident on Interstate 35 and Highway 287.

The incident happened on Interstate 35 northbound, entering the Highway 287 ramp.

Police said a pickup truck struck the rear trailer of a semi-truck and lost control. The pickup driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

All northbound lanes were closed following the crash. TxDOT urged drivers to avoid the area.
