1 Dead in Fort Collins Bicycle Crash on East Mulberry Street and Whedbee Street

FORT COLLINS, CO (July 9, 2026) – Monday night, a woman died in a horrific bicycle accident on East Mulberry Street and Whedbee Street.



The incident involving a semi truck and a female bicyclist happened at around 6:20 p.m. on East Mulberry Street and Whedbee Street.

A woman riding a bicycle was killed after being struck by a semi-truck on Mulberry Street, police said.

Officers arriving at the scene found the cyclist dead. Investigators said the truck was involved in an ongoing construction project in the area.

According to police, the cyclist was traveling from the north side of the road to the south side when she was struck.

The semi-truck driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.

The Fort Collins Police Services Collision Reconstruction and Scene Handling Team is leading the investigation. Authorities are asking any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police to come forward.
