Horrific Bicycle Crash on Chabot College Kills 64-Year-Old Man [Hayward, CA]

Hayward, CA (May 10, 2025) – A 64-year-old Hayward man died after being struck by a vehicle in a horrific Bicycle Crash on Chabot College.

According to authorities, the fatal collision happened t Depot Road and Adrian Avenue shortly after 10:15 a.m.

Police responded to the crash and found the cyclist injured. Despite life-saving efforts, the man later died at the hospital.

The driver, a 35-year-old man from outside Hayward, remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. He was not injured, and DUI is not believed to have played a role in the crash.

Investigators are still determining the cause of the collision.
