ESCONDIDO, CA (June 9, 2025) – Saturday night, a man died in a horrific bicycle crash on East Valley Parkway and Ash Street.

The incident happened at 9:10 p.m. on East Valley Parkway and Ash Street.

According to reports, as a man in a bicycle crossed roughly 100 feet west of the intersection of Ash Street, a Honda Accord struck him.

“The driver remained on scene and cooperated with police,” the department revealed. “Alcohol or drugs are not a factor in the crash.”

At this time, the identity of the victim remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.
