1 Dead in Jurupa Valley Auto Accident on Etiwanda Avenue and Inland Avenue

JURUPA VALLEY, CA (June 2, 2026) – Monday morning, a driver died in a horrific big rig crash on Etiwanda Avenue and Inland Avenue.

The incident happened at 4:25 a.m. on Etiwanda Avenue and Inland Avenue, within the warehousing district less than a mile east of the Interstate 15/60 Freeway interchange, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Agency spokesman Sgt. Ignacio Robles said one tractor-trailer entered the intersection at the same time as another, triggering the collision.

Patrol deputies and paramedics arrived a few minutes later and found one driver lying on the ground with major injuries. The victim, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Robles said the second truck driver was taken to a regional trauma center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. That driver has not been publicly identified.

Authorities said intoxicating substances are not suspected. The crash remains under investigation.

Officials also noted the area is heavily used by truck traffic around the clock due to nearby warehouses.
