Dallas, TX (May 02, 2025) – A horrific big rig crash on Highway 67 late Wednesday evening, resulted in 2 men getting killed.

According to authorities, the fatal collision happened on U.S. 67 near Wheatland Road.

Reports say that a speeding car crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler, killing two men inside the vehicle.

Dallas police arrived just before midnight and found the car heavily damaged with both occupants dead at the scene. The truck driver was unharmed.

Authorities shut down the northbound lanes of the freeway, which is expected to remain closed until around 10 a.m.

Investigators suspect speed played a role in the crash. They are also reviewing dashcam and surveillance footage to confirm reports that a third person may have fled the scene on foot. The investigation continues, and officials have not yet released the victims’ identities.
