1 Dead in San Antonio Auto Accident on FM 3009

SAN ANTONIO, TX (April 15, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a horrific box truck crash on FM 3009 killed 1 person.

The incident happened at about 8:36 a.m. on FM 3009 in Comal County.

Reports said that a 16-year-old from New Braunfels died after being struck by a northbound box truck that drifted into the southbound lanes of FM 3009, crashing with the teen’s 2010 Toyota Sienna.

As a result, the 16-year-old was declared dead at the scene. Meanwhile, responders took the truck driver to Methodist Northeast Hospital with serious injuries.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
