SAN BERNARDINO, CA (June 7, 2026) – Friday, a horrific CAL FIRE truck crash on Highway 74 in San Bernardino National Forest killed 2.

The incident happened when the fire engine responded to a vegetation fire burning in the San Bernardino National Forest east of Highway 74.

The California Highway Patrol confirmed that one person died at the scene.
