Driver Killed in Crash on Southbound U.S. 95 Near Vidal

Vidal, CA (June 27, 2025) — A driver died in a horrific traffic collision on Highway 95 near Vidal early Friday.

According to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office, the crash happened at approximately 12:12 a.m. on June 26. Officers with the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene, where the driver was pronounced dead.

Authorities have not released the victim’s identity, pending identification and notification of the next of kin. The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
