Parkland, WA (January 24, 2026) — On Thursday, a horrific collision on Park Avenue between a mail truck and a sedan left two people seriously injured.

Deputies responded to the 10600 block of Park Avenue South just after noon.

Reports say that the first deputy on scene pulled the mail truck driver away from the burning vehicle, with a bystander helping to control the fire.

Both the mail truck driver and a male passenger in the sedan were hospitalized in serious condition.

Authorities continue investigating the crash.
