Oxnard, CA (September 26, 2025) — On Thursday morning, a man riding a bicycle died after a horrific collision on Simon Way.

According to authorities, the crash happened shortly after 10 a.m. near the intersection of Simon Way and Vineyard Avenue in the El Rio neighborhood.

Police said the cyclist and the semi-truck were both heading north on Vineyard Avenue when the truck struck the rider, knocking him to the ground.
