91-Year-Old Woman Dies After Crash with Tractor-Trailer in Callaway County

Callaway County, MO (April 17, 2026) — On Wednesday morning, a 91-year-old woman from Fulton lost her life following a crash on Highway 54 in Callaway County.

According to authorities, the woman was driving a Ford Fusion along Highway 54 near County Road 2002 when her vehicle collided with the front of a tractor-trailer. The force of the impact sent her car off the right side of the roadway, where it overturned. The crash also caused the truck’s trailer to detach and veer off the opposite side of the road.

Emergency responders transported the woman to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries. The truck driver sustained moderate injuries and also received medical care.

Authorities reported that neither driver was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Investigators continue to review the circumstances surrounding the incident.
