Horrific Crash on Interstate 10 Results in Injury [Beaumont, CA]

Beaumont, CA (July 11, 2026) — On Friday afternoon, a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 WB in Beaumont left one person injured and caused significant traffic delays, authorities said.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 3:10 p.m. near Beaumont Avenue. The crash involved a Nissan sedan and a Tesla. Initial reports mentioned a pickup truck, but investigators later determined it was only struck by debris and sustained no significant damage.

The Tesla driver became temporarily trapped inside the vehicle but was able to exit through a window before emergency crews arrived.

Riverside County Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and found one driver with minor to moderate injuries. Paramedics transported the injured motorist to a regional trauma center for further treatment. No other injuries were reported.

All involved vehicles came to rest in the center divider, allowing traffic lanes to remain open despite delays caused by the emergency response.

The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
