Horrific Crash on Interstate 70 Kills 16-Year-Old Girl [St. Louis County, MO]

St. Louis County, MO (July 11, 2025) – A 16-year-old girl lost her life, and four other teenagers suffered serious injuries in a horrific crash on Interstate 70 Tuesday evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the fatal incident happened between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. near Lucas and Hunt Road in north St. Louis County.

Troopers said the vehicle has been reported stolen by the Florissant Police Department earlier that morning and was not being pursued by authorities at the time of the collision.

The car carrying six teens swerved off the road and crashed. Sadly, a 16-year-old girl died at the scene.

Moreover, emergency responders transported two 15-year-old girls and two boys, aged 17 and 14, to the hospital with serious injuries.

Officials noted it remains unclear whether any of the teens were wearing seatbelts. The driver fled the scene on foot, and authorities are actively working to identify and locate them.
