Sarita, TX (February 14, 2026) — A crash on La Parra Avenue Thursday morning sent two people to a local hospital.

According to the Kenedy County Sheriff’s Office, the collision happened around 8:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes on an overpass across from Sarita Elementary School.

Reports say that 2 individuals were involved, and emergency crews had to assist one person out of a vehicle.

EMS transported both individuals to an area hospital. Officials have not released updates on their conditions.
