Horrific DUI Collision on Highway 210 Claims a Life [Fontana, CA]

Fontana, CA (August 28, 2025) Early Sunday morning, a horrific DUI collision on Highway 210 claimed one life and left another person injured.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened around 2:26 a.m. on the 210 Freeway.

The CHP and emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle collision on the eastbound lanes near the Beech Avenue exit.

Investigators said a gray Acura ILX sedan rear-ended a burgundy Tesla, leaving both vehicles disabled and blocking two lanes. Moments later, a white Infiniti crashed into the driver’s side of the Acura.

Firefighters extricated the Acura’s driver, but the individual died at the scene. A passenger from the Acura was rushed to a hospital with injuries that were not disclosed.

Authorities arrested the driver of the Infiniti on suspicion of DUI. No other injuries were reported.

CHP reopened the two right lanes by 3:16 a.m., and all lanes were cleared by 6 a.m. The investigation remains ongoing.
