Man Killed in Horrific E-Bike Crash on S Timberline Road

1 Dead in Fort Collins Bicycle Accident on S Timberline Road and E Lincoln Avenue

FORT COLLINS, CO (June 4, 2026) – Wednesday, a man died in a horrific e-bike crash on S Timberline Road and E Lincoln Avenue.

The incident involving a Lincoln SUV and an e-bike happened on South Timberline Road and East Lincoln Avenue.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, the e-bike rider was traveling eastbound on East Lincoln Avenue and approaching the stop sign at the intersection with South Timberline Road. At the same time, a Lincoln SUV was traveling northbound on South Timberline Road.

Troopers said the intersection is a two-way stop, with stop signs only for traffic on East Lincoln Avenue. The e-bike rider entered the intersection and was struck on the right side by the SUV.

The rider, a 23-year-old man, was thrown from the e-bike and transported to a hospital. He later died from his injuries on May 25.

CSP continues to investigate the crash. No charges have been filed.
