AMADOR COUNTY, CA (October 15, 2025) – Monday night, a horrific head-on crash on Aqueduct Grove Road and Highway 88 killed one person.

The incident happened at around 7:00 p.m. on Aqueduct Grove Road and Highway 88.

According to reports, two vehicles collided head-on for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated two people trapped in their vehicles. Then, paramedics pronounced one person dead at the scene, while the other patient was transported to a hospital with major injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed Highway 88 but has long since reopened.
