1 Person Dead in Long Beach Pedestrian Accident on 1300 Alamitos Avenue

LONG BEACH, CA (November 14, 2023) – Sunday night, a horrific hit-and-run crash on 1300 Alamitos Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 10:50 p.m. in the 1300 block of Alamitos Avenue.

According to Long Beach police Lt. Jonathan Cole, a vehicle struck a male pedestrian, and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

As a result, responders rushed the man to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
