1 Dead in Elk Grove Pedestrian Accident on Bruceville Road and Laguna Boulevard

ELK GROVE, CA (December 22, 2025) – Saturday night, a woman died in a horrific hit-and-run crash on Bruceville Road and Laguna Boulevard.

The incident happened at about 8:15 a.m. on Bruceville Road, north of Laguna Boulevard.

A 25-year-old woman was struck and killed by a dark-colored SUV while crossing Bruceville Road north of Laguna.

She was walking outside the crosswalk in the number three lane when the southbound vehicle hit her.

The driver left the scene and was last seen heading west on Laguna Boulevard.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Elk Grove Police Department Traffic Bureau at 916-478-8148. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
